The leader and center of SP!CA, Mitsuki naturally attracts people with his gorgeous appearance and friendly character. He has been modelling since he was a child. His idol aura is very strong, and he has an elegance similar to a 'Prince', but in actuality, Mitsuki is a humble and down-to-earth person. Mitsuki loves going to festivals.

As he was a child model before, Mitsuki has a very dazzling personality, and has a talent to attract a crowd and lead people. This trait of his is why Samon Nishikido suggested to the Producer that Mitsuki should be the center of SP!CA. Mitsuki might radiate a positive energy to those around him, but he tends to hide his worries to himself, including his childhood friend Hiro Igarashi. He was very nervous and scared when he was selected to become SP!CA's center, but later able to blow it off after Azusa Konno, the previous leader and center supports him.

Mitsuki is very enthusiastic during festivals.

Background

Mitsuki was a child model during elementary school. He was in the same class with Hiro Igarashi and became best friends after he saved Hiro from getting bullied by a senior.

Relationships

• Samon Nishikido - He respects Samon's great intellect and relies on him as the sub-leader.
• Hiro Igarashi - Hiro is his childhood friend. He is often amused by Hiro's encouragement and embarrassing speech. He became friends with Hiro after being part of the cheering group during their elementary school's sports festival.

• The name Mitsuki means "light" (光) (mitsu) and "hope" (希) (ki).
• Mitsuki's surname Kuze means "nine" (久) (ku) and "swift current, rapids" (瀬) (se/ze).
