Uta Kamijo |
The leader of La-Veritta who has an appearance of an angel and an unusual talent in music. He does all the composing, performing and singing but he is not good at writing lyrics from the heart. Uta looks down on others and doesn't think that it is important to have a good relationship with partners. He is rebellious and has a bad mouth that does not fit his appearance.
Uta often takes baths alone even though the Dear Production sharehouse has a public bath because of his secret.
Appearance[]
To many of the other DearPro idols, Uta is described as an "angel"; he has white hair and deep purple eyes.
Uta has a large scar on his shoulders, caused by an accident in a fight with Kurisu, which is his secret and the reason why he dislikes taking baths and changing clothes in public.
Personality[]
Despite his appearance, Uta is generally sarcastic, foul-mouthed, and most of the time very blunt and rude, specifically towards Genshin, who is his close companion. Because of his blunt demeanor, he looks down upon others and doesn't even consider Genshin his equal. However, when music is involved, Uta becomes very passionate about such.
Relationships[]
- Genshin Shimizu - His companion. Thinks Genshin's only worth is his talent in writing lyrics.
After finding out that Genshin is Kurisu's younger brother, Uta initially resented him for keeping it a secret, causing Uta and Genshin to fight. As Genshin was comatosed for two months, Uta then finally realizes Genshin's importance to him and told him that he doesn't want to stand on the stage alone again.
- Komugi Ayasaki - He respects Komugi for his dedication and desire to be an idol. He also doesn't act rude towards Komugi, and can't refuse his favor.
- Kurisu Mamiya - His previous partner before Genshin came to Dear Production.
At first, the two got along well because they are both talented in music. However, due to music differences, Uta and Kurisu would always fight with each other. The day when they reached their breaking point, Kurisu accidentally pushed Uta, and it left Uta with the large scar on his back. Kurisu, feeling guilty, then left Dear Production and went back to his hometown. Uta thought that Kurisu was just running away, and did not know that Kurisu actually passed away in an accident not long after he left.
